Spiritual Performances

Thailand’s performing arts, whether they be music, dance, or drama, are

the expressions of valuable culture filled with the grace of Thai wisdom. Each

of the performing arts aims to serve the purpose of beauty and entertainment

which may encourage critical thinking that leads to social change and

development. At the same time, performing arts express emotions, feelings

and ways of life of each locality as well, such as the Nora dance in the

Southern Thailand, Li-kae and Lakhon Chatri in Central Thailand, Mo Lam in

the Northeastern Thailand and Phin Pia in the Northern Thailand.
