Summary

	 This book, โ€œThai Food, the Cultural Heritageโ€,  has relayed the consumption culture and
assembled the knowledge about Thai Food.  It is apparent that Thai Food is divided, geographically,
into 4 regions, namely Thai food of the northern region, Thai food of the central region,
Thai food of the southern region and Thai food of the northeastern region.  Each region has its own
distinctive identity following its cultural way of life, tradition, different sources of food and
ingredients from the abundance of the 4 regions of Thailand and the influence received
from international cuisines.  People relocated in each area bringing about cultural diversities.  
Thai food has creativity, elaborateness, meticulousness, beauty, gentleness of the culinary science
and culinary art.  The culinary knowledge and consumption intellect contain the charm that has
its own identity, relayed from one generation to another, making Thailand well-known, from the
past unto the present days.
