Phu Phan Museum, That Choeng Chum Sub-District

 	 โ€œCommunity Culture, 12 Isaan Lifestyle Values and the Performing Arts of Way of Lifeโ€

 	 Phu Phan Museum construction project based onthe strategic plan for the development of the
 upper northeastern provinces (Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom and Kalasin) has established One Province
 One Product Project in order to improve infrastructure of tourism promotion of this provincial group. Sakon
 Nakhon has established Phu Phan Museum construction project, located at the back of Nong Han Luang
 community, Sakon Nakhon Municipality, That Choeng Chum Sub-District, Sakon Nakhon.
 	 Sakon Nakhon is widely known as a Buddhist province with five pagodas located in the city of 3,000
 years of civilization. In Sakon Nakhon basin, there is archaeological evidence confirming that the community
 has existed in prehistoric period. Due to the abundance of natural resources, especially the important
 water source called Nong Han as well as a large forest called Phu Phan mountain range, the settlement
 of various ethnicities who have lived together in peace and exchanged cultural learning and wisdom for a
 long time exists. Sakon Nakhon is also the location of Phu Phan Ratchaniwet Palace, which is the spiritual
 anchor of people. The palace was constructed to treat suffering and nurturing peopleโ€™s happiness. It can
 be said that Sakon Nakhon is a unique province and worth learning for Thai people all over the country,
 leading to sustainable conservation and development for the Thai society in a sustainable manner. The
 museum established to be a learning source is called Phu Phan Museum.
 	 The construction is divided into four stages, spending 888,100 baht. The Museum was opened in
 April 2012 and was under the responsibility of Sakon Nakhon governor. On March 1, 2013, the management
 of Phu Phan Museum was transferred to be under Sakon Nakhon Provincial Administrative Organization.
